We're working with Durotech to document one of their construction projects over the life of the build. Instead of a single big shoot, we show up for half days at different sites as the project moves forward, capturing video, drone footage, and photos at every phase.

On our latest visit, the crew was pouring concrete at sunrise. Excavators moving dirt, rebar crews tying steel, the pump truck running overhead. We captured the wide shots that show the scale of the site, the drone footage that shows progress from above, and the close, human moments: two workers reviewing plans on a tablet, a crew member guiding the pour.

That's the part most people miss about construction documentation. The finished building gets all the attention, but the story is in the work. The early mornings, the coordination, the craft. Filmed right, this footage does three jobs at once: it keeps stakeholders updated on progress, it shows future clients what this crew is capable of, and it gives the company a recruiting tool that no stock photo ever could.

Half-day shoots are the key. They're short enough to fit around the crew's real work, but frequent enough to capture every phase: site prep, foundation, structure, and finish. Over the life of the project, those visits add up to a complete visual record.
